It’s Family Vacation Time

We’re packed up and heading to Chicago for a week or so. Another one of Marjorie’s nieces is getting married.

We’re planning on celebrating Jack’s birthday up there by taking him to a minor league Baseball game. Cubs tickets were too expensive.

We’re bringing back an electronic organ that once belonged to Marjorie’s grandpa. It sports a full pedalboard, so she can actually practice on it. Hurrah!

I’m scheduling a few posts to be published this week, so don’t wander too far or too long.

If you have any free time, it would be great to get together. I plan on trying to take things fairly easy for the next week or so (barring anything unforeseen). I don’t have to preach on the 12th, as Fr. Ball will be preaching for me here at Gloria Dei for my 10th Anniversary Mass (July 11, 1999). Safe travels.

Let me know when you return to Enid, for I have a bribe for my regional VP in my car.
