Obama’s Creepy Soeteriology

Which is a fancy way of saying, “Some people think B. Hussein Obama is a kind of Messiah.” Or The Messiah. Or a New Age “Lightbringer.” Most of these people are kooks. This article addresses the latest developments. What is really creepy is how Obama himself uses messianic language in his speeches.

I’ve nothing more substantive to write. It simply gives me the willies.

Eeek. The most historically significant thing in 232 years? A black man getting the party nomination. A woman being very close on that. Okay, historical, yes. Significant? I’ll give them that. It wouldn’t have happened 40 years ago. Most significant? Absolutely not. And we are not the judge of that. Future generations are.

Well, given all of this messiah and lightbringer garbage — If he wins, I hope the Christian bookstores are making space in their prophecy sections for the latest round of “______ is the Antichrist” books. But I haven’t looked since it was Gorbachev.
