Obligatory Post

I’ve been pretty busy lately, with two funerals the last two weeks, Lent, getting over a nasty head cold, working on projects at church and at home and basketball games and the like.
But it is a good time of the year for quiet and reflection. Some Christian bloggers stop posting for the forty days altogether. [...]

So the Bible is Actually Correct?

From Lutheran Writer:
Genesis chapter 10 places before us the account of Noah’s three sons; Ham, Shem, and Japheth. In my Bible this section carries the title: The Table of Nations. Succinctly stated, the descendants of Japheth settled in the region which later became modern day Turkey, Greece, and north into Europe. Ham’s descendants settled the [...]

An Excellent and Inspiring Interview

Pittsburghmagazine.com presents this extended interview with Tony Polamalu, the Steeler’s star safety. Go read it, even if you’re not a sports fan.
There are many, many athletes who are open about their Christian faith, but Polamalu speaks of his faith and family and priorities in an incredibly open and honest way–and precise! Many athletes speak in [...]

You Can be a Dolphin Too!

Wired tells us how to become dolphins. Well, how to learn echolocation–the technique of making “clicks” to determine objects in front of us. Like dolphins. Or bats.

Ordinary people with no special [...]

Blog Additions Coming Up

I’m planning an expansion of this blog to include more tricks, tips, and how-tos for Ubuntu, as well as Linux, Opensource and tech news. I’m not sure how to implement it exactly without conflicting with the general character and readership of the blog. For now, I’m simply posting them in the appropriate category. I may [...]

Another PSA

I looked at my feed statistics again and noticed a majority of those who do subscribe use Google Reader. Immediately after the move I noted it Google was having problems with the feed.
I should have announced that it is now fixed, and Google Reader finds the feed just fine (say that five times fast).

Being More Reader-Friendly

I was glancing at my stats and noticed that about 60 readers stopped subscribing to the feed since I moved the site. I am wondering if they got lost in the move, lost their interest or cannot get something to work. If this applies to you, drop me a line or leave a comment and [...]

…Of Course, There are Only Five Readers

Which would amount to the three of us who leave comments pretty much getting along well.
I think it probably more effective to note that on most of the blogs I read, the same can be said for those who comment, with few exceptions.
Speaking of which, take a note at my blog roll. Would any of [...]
